Многие люди часто слышат слово «атеросклероз», но далеко не каждый понимает, в чем суть этой болезни и каковы ее последствия.

Атеросклероз являет собой медленное и незаметное сужение диаметра кровеносных сосудов, может поражать разные участки тела, но предпочтительно затрагивает артерии ног или груди. Большую опасность несет атеросклероз аорты коронарных артерий, так как это грозит инфарктом.
